Club Series
The Auckland Motorcycle Club has been organising road race meetings for more than 80 years and the Protecta Insurance sponsored club series has been the starting place for many successful road race careers.
Pukekohe Park Raceway is our home track with away meetings at Taupo Motorsport Park and this year at the new Hampton Downs track for added variety.
The club series usually kicks off in October once the weekend rain has finished in this part of the country and continues through the warmer months with four or five rounds ending in April.
The motorcycle race classes we cover are:
125GP - Grand Prix bikes up to 125cc two stroke engine
250GP - Grand Prix bikes up to 250cc two stroke engine
Hyosung Motorcycles 250Light - Production based 250cc four stroke, 2 cylinders
Clubman's - New or "retread" racers on a variety of bikes
Mt. Eden Motorcycles Formula Auckland - 601cc to Open capacity four stroke production or modified
Formula 2 - 600cc four stroke production based
Red Baron Motorcycles Formula 3 - 250cc 2 stroke, up to 450cc 4 stroke 4 cylinder and up to 650cc 4 stroke 2 cylinder
Post Classic Jnr - up to 600cc pre '72 & pre '82
Post Classic Snr - above 600cc pre '72 & pre '82
PC Pre '89 Jnr - up to 600cc
PC Pre '89 Snr - above 600cc
Plugz 4 Lugz Pro Twins - open to any twin cylinder machine (differs from MNZ class)
