PRESIDENTS REPORT
  (June 2005.)

Hello again, firstly, I must apologise for there being no presidents report for last month, I left it too and missed the boat.

Our A.G.M. was held on Tuesday 14th of June with quite a good attendance and it was good to see some of you putting your hands up to volunteer for positions on committees,
Thanks to those people for coming on board.

Below is my brief report to the A.G.M.

My twelve months as president has passed quite quickly and uneventfully due, I’m sure to the great team I have had around me.
The club has run a four round club championship series and a national points / NZ Tourist Trophy meeting, all of which were well run. Members of our club were also involved in the successful running of a number of other events such as Paeroa, Post Classics, Track Time and Most recently The VK Track Time Endurance Race. All of which required the expertise and hard work of our members. I would like to extend my thanks to all those people.
An afternoon function was held as a big thank you for the flag marshals, and others who assist in the running of race meetings, our life members were also invited to attend. The afternoon was a great success with everyone thoroughly enjoying themselves.
This year’s prize giving was again held in the clubrooms, it was very well attended, with the majority of winners present to uplift their trophies, and everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves. Thanks to the organisers, and to those who stayed to do the cleaning up afterwards.
In conclusion I would very much like to thank all the members of the Executive for their help and expertise in keeping the Auckland Motorcycle Club running on an even keel over the past year, and a special thank you to those who are stepping down.
