Pre-entry for this event closes Thursday 11th March 2010 at 6.00pm. You may enter on the day – the fee will be $175.00 as opposed to $155.00 for pre-enter. If you want to pre-enter you can scan the entry form and email it to me at lynettet@ihug.co.nz or fax the entry to AMCC 09-579-3106. Either way please bring the original to the meeting on Sunday. The purpose of the meeting is three-fold. As Hampton Downs is new to most people including our clubs, this event is a test day for the officials of the Auckland Motorcycle Club going into the NZ Superbike Champs at the end of the month. It is a round of the No 1 Plate competition for the Post Classic classes and gives an opportunity for competitors entering NZ Superbike Champs to familiarise themselves and test setups for Hampton Downs.
The programme is not set in concrete as yet but thoughts are that there will be practice sessions for all classes followed by Post Classic races separated by test sessions (10-15 mins.) for the Championship classes.
We plan to start sign-on at 7:30am and start the first practice at 9am and we will probably go through till 5.30pm to 6pm
